HRH Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Salman Al Saud Chairman of the Saudi Water Sports and Diving Federation from 2020, Prince Sultan is passionate about contributing to the future of Saudi Arabian growth in the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf. HRH is a Kauffman Fellow, through which he contributes to the VC space, as well as being Chairman of his family office, Eirad Holding. Chief Activator Professor Carlos Duarte Carlos Duarte is a global leader in multiple branches of biological oceanography and marine ecology including as the world-wide leading authority on the ecology of seagrass meadows. Celebrated as the most versatile aquatic ecologist of his generation, he works from the tropics to polar ecosystems, from macrophytes to microbes, from coastal systems to open ocean gyres using all type of approaches. Chief Scientist Alexandra Cousteau Alexandra Cousteau, granddaughter of Jacques- Yves Cousteau, is an award-winning advocate for ocean restoration and abundance. As a leading figure in ocean activism, Cousteau collaborates with world leaders across sectors to influence, convene and mobilize action to achieve measurable outcomes that will make the oceans more biodiverse and abundant. Chief Navigator Dr. Ralph Chami Ralph Chami is a financial economist and co-founder of Blue Green Future and Rebalance Earth. He retired from the International Monetary Fund after 25 years. He’s developed a way to tackle both climate change and biodiversity loss: to reposition species such as whales and elephants as crucial allies in the quest to sequester carbon, secure climate-resilient ecosystems and generate income for local communities.
