Winners of Project71 Announced
The winners of Project71, a venture competition to catalyze blue tech innovation around the globe, by Wave in partnership with Tonomus, were announced at the end of a spectacular virtual pitch event. Launched in February 2024, Project71 aimed to source and support innovative and impactful solutions that address ocean regeneration across select key domains.
The benefits for the winners include an invitation to join the TONOMUS Venture Studio for six months of acceleration support, as well as gaining access to the WAVE community. Tonomus is a world-leading technology enterprise powering the world’s first ecosystem of cognitive technologies at NEOM.
At the final event, five inspiring finalists pitched their solutions to a panel of experts and answered follow up questions about their solutions. There was also a keynote speech by Ray Dalio, Founder, CIO Mentor, and Member of the Bridgewater Board.
The three winners and their solutions are: CLEARBOT – AI-powered robotic service vessels to clean our oceans; clearbot.in HYDROKINETIX – Renewable energy and data generated from water motion; hydrokinetx.com Nucleic Sensing Systems (NS2) – Autonomously detect and quantify biology in the field and in real time; ns2co.com
